To find networking information on a Mac running OS X 10.4 (Tiger), navigate to the Network Preferences panel.
1.- Go to the Apple Menu, then select System Preferences.
2.- Click on the “Network” preference pane
3.- Your IP address will be visible to the right, as indicated in the screenshot below

Enter ip adress then click on the Ping button.
